The Up North Combine put basketing back 24 hours - with a review later today - possibly basket Saturday for Sunday race - weather looks good for Sunday

I must be over feeding then - but my birds were doing almost a mile a minute on it from a 40 mile training toss last Wednesday birds are getting at least an ounce and a half a day (fed twice a day) and loft flying atleast 40 minutes twice a day (sometimes a lot longer)

All my youngsters are really boring colours this year - cos I've got no reds or grizzles in the loft

Sadly one pair were dead this morning - I have put the other two with a pair already feeding two youngsters, but it's not looking promising billy99 I might have given that a go if it had been a few days earlier - I was away the weekend and think these have hatched Saturday/Sunday

I have another 2 pairs feeding their own youngsters a few days old - but doubt they would be able to feed 4 each - would they be able to feed 3?

You have been very lucky - and will no doubt be rather disappointed with its replacement They don't make 'em like that any more We get new ones just about every year - they are not very good!

We floated some eggs from the race team to stock birds - yes I know it's usually done the other way round. But we put a couple of stock hens in the race loft and paired them to their grandsons Anyway - we didn't realise how long they had been sitting the eggs - and floated them to some that had recently laid Unfortunately its only a week later and they have hatched (hence the 'doesn't time fly') We have floated eggs before successfully where there has been a 5 day difference - but not 2 weeks! Apart from crossing fingers - what is the likelihood of these being successfully raised?

You had to shut down from the start menu on Windows 8.1 - so just a slight difference. Having problems downloading photos from phone - seems you have to mess about with a live account getting this that and the other e-mailed over to download - not a happy bunny

I accidentally installed Windows 10 last night (I hadn't used the computer for a few hours, and usually have to sign back in when I go to use it - I'm always leaving the computer on without any problems) when I went to the computer last night and clicked to get a desktop image - here's the Windows 10 saying updating!! Horror struck I was - and it took forever Anyway - I know people have had problems with printer drivers - but mine has printed fine this morning. The fact that it has printed is a miracle because I've been having problems with the printer feed and was considering buying a new printer - I have an Epson SX125 So all appears to be well - the desktop screen is exactly the same as the Windows 8.1, so I haven't really noticed any differences so far

Our loft is leaking too - and currently in the process of putting up Coroline sheets (or equivalent) - expensive but they have a 15 year guarantee

We've ordered the Nobilis from Viovet because it is only £18.52 for 80 doses - though they have charged us £5.99 delivery - still - it's a saving of £50 on 800 doses

Just rang one company up for the Nobivac (Nobilis) vaccine and the use by date is Dec 2016 - so that is disappointing (Nobivac (Nobilis) is their description - so no discussions please !!!) That is the only date available for Colombovac that I have seen Williedoo But there's loads not got any in stock - including Hyperdrug Where did you get yours from? Murrayfarmcare?

Have they got the 100 dose do you know?

You need a sliding internal door or trap between the two sections to let the non flying pigeons through and out of the way of the opposite sex

We fly roundabout - but they only trap to one section

I don't have a bottle - I was looking to purchase a large quantity for the club Thank you - it does help Years ago Nobilis always seemed to have a short date - that's very helpful to know As we buy for the whole of the club - it helps to know if too much vaccine is purchased for the young birds that it could still be in date for old bird vaccinations in January 2017 - this year the club sold over 800 young bird rings, but we would only normally vaccinate about 600 youngsters. Thanks all for your help - it has been very useful. Only one person in our club vaccinates all the birds, so we only charge per number of birds vaccinated. Members do not buy their own vaccines it is purchased in bulk, so there is less waste overall and costs are kept to a minimum

I'm not very good with colours - but the two in the nest bowl - the one at the front may be an opal? I had one similar in 2004 - and it has always stuck in my head, as we've not had anything similar since!

Does anybody know the use by date on the current batch of vaccines? Is it this year?

No - microchips are registered on a national database - so not the same.
