  1. I wonder if the SHU get their rings from the same place as the NEHU? Really rough on the bottom edge of the life rings - poor quality very disappointing, and we pay 22p - 25p
  2. Best Wishes Good Luck and Good Health in 2016 to all pigeonbasics members
  3. It has been very mild here 'up North' Tony I'm not surprised - it'll be like a Northern Summer 'darn souf'
  4. 64 minutes to get through to customer services Have been changing channels on the internet under instruction Was on Channel 1 and now on channel 9 (there were 13 to choose from) I have changed channels before though
  5. Just been on a BT site that states my maximum downlaod is 15Mbps and maximum upload 1.00Mbps Has anybody else tried testing their internet speed? http://www.speedtest.net
  6. I had problems with my computer - took it computer shop to get sorted. Now I have different problems Internet connection keeps dropping out Took it back to computer shop, who have tested it - used it on their internet and no problems - they did a speed test and it was 75Mbp download and I can't remember the upload - it was about 16Mbps I think So he told me to do a speedtest when I got home - on my husband's laptop (wifi) and mine on the cable and on wifi The test results are appalling - so what do I do next? Tackle my Internet provider The tests results were: Wifi Dowload speed - 14.8Mbps Upload speed 0.92mbps With the cable (which he said should be better) Download - 1.66mbps Upload - 0.90mbps (incidentally I ordered a new ethernet cable before I did the tests in case it was faulty)
  7. Our club has been a UNIKON Club member for a few years, it is debateable as to whether it is worth it. ETS rings are cheaper, you get 10% off servicing - had all clubs systems serviced this year - had one or two repairs on the club system free of charge and they have just replaced a bit of kit instead of servicing it. Don't exactly know all benefits as other half is secretary - not me
  8. I don't think we've lost any birds - but she does get VERY Close - a bit like she's stalking them! The birds don't seem to have a problem with her
  9. And the one on ebay has sold Lindsay!! Found mine as well!

  13. Are the birds pecking at soil in the garden?
  14. Do you not think it would be better for the hen to put all her energy into getting better rather than exercise particularly at this time of year?
  15. Kevin did you upgrade your computer? What did you upgrade from (windows 7 or 8?)
  16. Has anybody sent all clubs ETS systems in for servicing and managed to negotiate any discount? Disapppointed there isn't going to be much available on 18 systems sent in together
  17. I did buy both in the end They had offers on '3' bags (it was 4 bags last year) So 3 of each was £44 (£20 for 3 bags of tic beans and £24 for 3 bags of maples - 20kg bags)
  18. Yep - it's just to 'beef' up the mix - we generally mix what we have left - race mixtures and barley with a bag or two of moulting mix to overwinter If you buy four bags of peas or beans you get it cheaper than just buying one They're good quality farm beans/peas and you get to inspect the bags for quality
  19. If you had the choice of either at a similar (lowish) price - which would you go for - and why? This is to overwinter birds and for breeding in January
  20. Last race of the season (yes - some of us still have a race!!) UNC Bubwith Group 1 up @ 9.00 Group 4 up @ 9.20 Group 6 up @ 9.40
