An old cock in the stock loft bred in 2001, a cheq pied hen from the first ones when we started racing in 2004, and we have 3 retired racers 2005 rung - all cocks. One is in the stock loft, one flies out with the racers and one is a favourite. Apart from the 15 year old, the others don't look old at all, I hate big wattles and they don't have them - a bonus!

I had 28/33 in 45 minutes so was disappointed there was no more back when I got home from clocks being read. A further 3 during the afternoon makes it 31/33. Got one of the 2 missing from last week reported on a farm, he was home last night and judging by the size of him, it wasn't a farm with cereal crops! He was very thin. A little off the pace today - a minute behind (10th club) but was a better team performance (5 in the first 29 on the sheet) Roll on next week!
