Have you tried syringing a very strong glucose solution down her? It worked on one of my hens who also had to be hand fed and syringed for a few days as she hadn't the strength (or inclination) - but she did pull round and I'm sure it was the glucose that really helped

I ask this question as some breed early and some later - but how late to breed your youngsters for racing? Today I topped the fed with a youngster that chipped out on April 30th (it was 3 months old yesterday) and my 4th bird home chipped out on May 7th I've never had young birds this young before - they haven't been on the dark (well only for 2 or 3 weeks) and have already dropped atleast 2 flights So how old are your young birds?

Are you sure thats the name? I think it maybe 'Antec' use at the strength suggested - 1.5 grams to 2 litres (that is approximately a quarter of a teaspoon to 2 litres of water))

I found the opposite - cocks that were stopped performed better as yearlings than the young cocks that had flown the full programme
