have followed this thread from the start and still believe this is a question for the end of season and not after a poor first race(although the feds returns were not great marlbourgh weekend) .!! the main issue from what i can make out is that the two inland nationals in some peoples opinion on pb are taking birds away from the channel races, from a membership of roughly 1100 members the following sent to each race in 2010. BOVINGDON 718 MEMBERS. EASTBOURNE 690 MEMBERS. REIMS 397 MEMBERS. BOURGES 114 MEMBERS. YPRES 425 MEMBERS. CLERMONT 311 MEMBERS. not sure what to make of the above and with it getting to that time of night. :D personally we will hope to send to all races. :) :)
yes you are right Vincent, but with less fanciers about today the SNFC caters for every fancier in scotland with something for everyone,6 races between 300-600 miles and a young bird race, definately some thing for everyone. :)
well done the clarkston boys bad news about the returns, think last year same w/end was just under the 190mls mark Bubwith i think, weather is terrible at the moment, hope there are a few doos about in the morning. :)
have 2 choices for the w/end,catterick 140 mls with almond valley or huntingdon 300 mls with the LSC,going up the west end of Glasgow on saturday afternoon for my mates 40th birthday so might send a few yearlings to catterick.will follow the weather over the next 48 hrs. :)
would also like to say well done to my mate john bosworth from elphinstone on another fantastic performance winning the national section again and also 3rd section to boot!!!!!!!!!, have not studied the result yet but he has had a great team race also. :) well done bozzie ;)
