  1. me a bit of a nostalgia buff frank ,but there have been loads of great national winning doos over the years from all areas of scotland in the SNFC,and even these past few weeks we have new birds who will go on to be national legends.fantastic and always gets me going. :D
  2. there not bad doos and might just be your bird for next year ,the hen we got tonight has scored twice before with the national. :) :)so happy to see her. great to see fanciers getting doos back.
  3. bill frame strathaven springs to mind, davy elliot yes, would have to do a bit more thinking but there are a couple more. :)
  4. it was only recently that the format changed from 15/1 to 10/1 regarding the winning of diplomas, and also with the introduction of silver awards giving the fanciers and pigeons of the SNFC a better chance of achievment over the season, the longer distance race (this year tours)is well catered for imo with all pigeons making the result being awarded a diploma,to change the current format to allow more diploma winners imo would be a drop in standards as other uk nationals already practise this. :)
  5. thanks for that m8,i will pass on your regards. :)
  6. got my second tours bird tonight, was glad to see her as she has scored twice before at the national so another one for next year. :)
