Looking at the thread geo there are Feds with plenty doos and getting good racing.to be fair the fanciers racing from the east side are not far enough down the road yet,the next two weeks will tell .

Have been on pb a long time and always support the SNFC and only asking what we can do to make next year better.??

I have this bird which came in yesterday.

Have had a look at the three 500 mile races with the SNFC this year and the stats make terrible reading.i have included a breakdown of the prizes won and birds entered in each section. A. 66 prizes 495 birds entered. B 14 prizes 463 birds entered. C 25 prizes 532 birds entered. D 11 prizes 198 birds entered. E 19 prizes 550 birds entered. F 1 prize 104 birds entered. G 0 prizes 116 birds entered. Total 136 birds timed in race time from 2458 birds entered,time for a massive think folks.personally not bad race controlling and transporters.

Alan flew longtown Gretna Carlisle Lockerbie etc etc as a member of the midland fed 2004 - 2008 with horrendous returns with young birds the fed at the time had over 200 members but were insistent this was the way to go,if fanciers think racing from these points birds will charge up the 74 into Lanarkshire they are kidding themselves on,we would all love to race straight down the middle but have to do the best for the doos!!!.

In. Today's terms waiting on 6 from 35 is not overly terrible and maybe a few will show up today?

Honest question tam was unsure if you were racing or not,always the best policy to ask.
