I,m personally having the best race of the season so far returns wise.dont know if it's anything to do with the doos getting plenty time at the lib site or no but it's one of the few times this season my doos haven't dived into the drinker as soon as they come home and long may it continue.

The majority of the injuries have been to the breast which would of been caused by hitting wires but I don't the it was the wires that caused cuts down their side under the wing jmo

I got 2 back late Saturday night we cuts down the side o them this year is my worst ever for having my pigeons injured I am averaging 2 per week.

Well done Jim looks like the Aberdeen fed had a steadier race than the North fed for some strange reason. Don't know how your doos were but there were some real dehydrated doos we us again.

The North of Scotland fed race from both Newark and Ripon and in my opinion they are 2 of our better race points normally getting good returns from both

I came home from my work last Saturday to time in my doos then back to work again on my way home I noticed 3 blue bar doos hedge hoping in the field next to where I was driving they could Nae of been more the 6 feet off the ground it was a North wind in their nose I would say a lot o them get done with fences and wires whilst flying low down.

I agree we you George they never seam to loss a doo but still need to rear a team o latebreds something amiss somewhere. Me I intend to race my doos hard this year after taking a back seat for the last couple of years and I fully expect to lose atleast half o them by the time the seasons finished.

1st race sent 18 cocks got 18 home 2nd race sent 11 cocks got 11 home both 70 mile races. This weekend sent the lot 47 got 45 home lost 2 a 3 year old cock I was hoping to send across the channel this year and a yearling hen also had 3 home with injuries 1 with half her wing missing 1 with his breast ripped open and 1 with what appears to be a shotgun injury to her neck and that's us just crossed the 100 mile mark the poor souls have a lot to put up with in their efforts to get home.

Canna understand it either . I dropped 2 and have 3 home either cut or half a wing missing from Saturday and it was only a 114 mile race to me
