I have vista had no problems at all.Spoke to Ray Knight the other week told me that there would be no need to download new drivers, once the programme had been reloaded by unikon onto the website after the first time it was on there should be no problems,I must admit Icame back home after speaking to him and it loaded up no trouble.
I,m the same as you Phil cant remember seeing anything at all, infact I,ve just been searching the RPRA site to see if I could find anything,I,ll go through all the latest BHW now i,m sure all the results of the AGM voting is in one of them.
You must know something that I dont then because I wasnt aware that there was any new rules coming out concerning the pads, sorry for that we will have to comply with them then when we receive them.
Sorry mate but i,m correct the RPRP rule states that the anttennae(pad) of the ETS must be fitted within the confines of the loft or trapping systems and not underneath external landing boards, because the pad is actually inside the sputnick and not underneath it that makes it legal.
You can leave them out during the week if you like so that the birds can sit in the trap and then fit them when racing or training, with no bobs in the sputnik have known birds to jump straight through into the loft and miss the floor of the sputnick and not be clocked.
You,ve probably had no problems with yours Mark but these are a few things that I have also done to my sputnick to make sure no birds are missed,I have put bob wires at the back of the trap to stop other birds getting in the trap when the race birds are comming home, have also known birds to jump up out of the trap as well so this will also stop them on a raceday,if the piece that you put your pad in is wider than the pad block off some of the holes in the sputnick so that the birds drop in exactly on top of the board when the pad is,hope this may help.
Sapper,If you would send me your phone number I will try and help you out,had no problems at all after the first lot of downloads were put right by UNIKON,make sure you have everything set up and you have a radio signal, let me know if your there allday.
Thought the milers were the ones that the owners would all stand in a line and release them out of their baskets then they would fly in a straight line about 6 inches off the floor and then into a basket the other end,the other fancier would quickly shut the basket and hit a stop watch, fastest bird being the winner.
I think its the BRITISH BARCELONA CLUB where you dont have to pre book your entries allthough you do have to be a member, you just turn up on the day of marking with your entries.
Be carefull not to give them to much before letting them out, personally I wouldnt give them anything as you want full control over them,I would get them back in soon after they have had a fly round you dont want them getting into bad habits sitting about on the roof plus the neighbours might not be to pleased.
If the pad goes underneath it will be Illegal,I made a couple of traps the same as these last
year but mine are inside the loft with just the landing board sticking out,the pad is then inside the loft, fully legal.
IF it is a stipulation to get money from the Awards For All you have to let anyone into your club that apply,s to join and the SNRPC have had money from them then they should be reported, unless they can prove that the fancier for one reason or another should not be allowed in.
I believe any club as a right to turn down anyone and does not have to give a reason why, wether this is right or wrong is not the question because there is no ruling that says differant.
