It seems to me that a lot of problems are arising with the way people are reading the rule about the ETS pads,I,m not sure what the actual wording is in the SHU but in the RPRA to me it is quite straightforward,the antennae of the ETS must be fitted within the confines of the loft or trapping systems not underneath external landing boards.no mention about bob wires,no mention about the bird not being able to fly back out or not after it as been clocked.I have 3 differant traps,1 purchased new from murray and mills,2 a speed trap with bay that I have converted,3 a home made one,all have the same things in commom,the antennaes are all within the confines of the trap or loft,they all have bob wires after the antennae and the bird can fly back up onto the house if it wants after is has been clocked or go through the bobs further into the loft,and the last thing THEY ARE ALL WITHIN THE RULES OF THE RPRA.
