    10X6 Loft/shed

Hi Looking to fly birds (Young) at my new house but rather than knock down my 20 foot loft I was wanting to kind of test how I like the idea of new location and wondering if anyone knows of any 10 foot lofts for sale. Well nothing smaller that 10/12 foot Even garden shed that I could work on to race my young birds

    Widowhood Cocks

Sounds perfect to me! They are showing all good signs, Now get them used to coming home to a hen then you'll not need to worry about getting them in as they'll want home to see if hen in box
  14. As ready as I can be, 7 tosses and been down to Kelso, Carter Barr this weekend if OK weather, Only 12 birds (Started with 12) and 7 are only really racing to show qualify so I doubt I'll be setting world alight Hopefully setting up young birds down my new location and that should kick start my racing career (40 young)
  15. 12 old birds for me this year Hopefully breed 30 young I think the way the bop is going I'll struggle to see season out but can only try
  16. Be great to see Paul

    Training

Barry I started from new roundabout on A7 just near Gorebridge (1.5 mile), Only because I have a couple hens raced as young birds but never raced last year. I'd say I wasted my time and should have just took them about 15/20 miles. I'd not worry but just take them when not too cold mate. Long season and hammering birds in north cold winds I'd not recommend.

  19. This was point I was going to mention I had ETS pad on widowhood loft 2013 but the natural section was sputnik so I needed to catch then go to pad and scan birds from natural loft I had 2 birds drop and there was over 50 seconds between the bird in sputnik and one straight over ETS pad, I aint slow at catching them so amazed me at the seconds lost. I'd say if I was timing to a T3 rather than over to ETS pad would still have been around 20 seconds difference! But the change in my birds knowing I don't go near loft other than a whistle from top of garden is like night and day! they trap the best they ever have and I think its saves over a minute from when standard clock
  20. Birds only starting to be get let out about lofts. Got a great 5 mins from the turkeys
