  8. RPRA members in Scotland: The President, Vice Presidents and CEO will be meeting tomorrow evening to discuss guidance to facilitate racing in Scotland. This will hopefully be published on Tuesday morning. In the meantime we ask clubs to make preparations based on the guidance issued to English clubs.

GROUP TRAINING OF RACING PIGEONS IN SCOTLAND Group training of racing pigeons in Scotland can be carried out by members of the Scottish Homing Union provided the following minimum precautions are taken. During the loading of the transporter the driver must remain in the cab of the vehicle and have no contact with those loading the transporter Only two people at a time can be present to load the transporter. This can be achieved by allocating times to members thereby reducing the size of gatherings The same two people must not be used to load the transporter A camping type mobile toilet must be provided for the driver as there are possibly no public toilet facilities available en route Clubs and Federations must ensure that any location that they may use as a liberation site are currently open to the public or the neccessary permission has been granted from the owner of the site The minimum distancing and hygene steps must be taken at all times to ensure the safety of members and the public alike Gordon Turnbull, B.E.M.     We just plan to start the youngsters off Old birds are doing an hour so if green light for old bird racing happens I’ll just give the cocks/hens 1 each so good to go if we can
  19. Said same for clubs in Pentland Central marking and ask people not working and can travel have them early time slots and rolled out to the workers coming after work
  20. I only emailed Gordon to simply ask if anyone is in contact from SHU And answer was yes Nothing will happen pre Thursday anyways so am sure we will have answers by that
  21. Websites useless for sure I emailed him as he did email when lock down first kicked off Tbf tho it’s first time needed an update as Scotland has been in lockdown since that email was sent But I emailed him today to see if at least it’s in talks and the answer was yes
  22. I emailed G Turnbull today He’s in talks with Scottish Goverment He believes phase 1 will allow training the same as England But this is not official But he’s in talks and I’m sure should be emailing feds maybe Monday or Tuesday
