Looks like the shortest day here in Derry already Tony, its been dark since 3pm and the snow is still falling :(

I use Limestone flower from my local agriculture supplies which is textured like a sand and lime mix, its used by the farmers when housing livestock over the winter months so will have no need for sand and I brush it straight onto the loft floor after scraping out

Was at the show myself yesterday Paul and seen Timmy with his clipboard looking busy. Good day out and a chance to get a few things for the birds as well as meeting up and chatting with a few old friends. Good to see all the Southern lads up at the show, looks like they all had a good weekend. :)

Jim I know its quite frustrating when your left in this situation as I have been in dipute over the very same thing a few years back. I have heard that Jimmy Hughs isn't keeping too well but if you give him another ring and explain that you have had no contact and are a bit pi**ed off with the whole thing I'm sure he will send you an ownership card for the bird.

Owner obviously has no interest in reclaiming it Jim, thats the problem with the IHU(N)birds, Jimmy Hughs does his job to inform the owner but as your not getting any notification the owners usually don't give a toss and don't bother contacting the finder and your left with the problem. :emoticon-0179-headbang:
