The snfc office will be closed as from the 3rd of april can all mebers please contintue to forwad this years fees . I pesonally myself will not be joining this year as i see no national racing from europe . Inland nat maybe attractive to some members but not for me as my birds are long distance blood and cannot compete against sprinters or middle/ distant sprinters. I know a lot to do with it is location as I am one of the longest flyers in the snfc Ive decided to bow out . I do hope somethig comes good out of this pandemic that we are all part of. STAY SAFE .

Am the same loft is in the back garden all lof duties done / then a bit telly /then a bit reaing & phoning freinds / a wee snooze in the afternoon/ birds attended late afternoon Am not allowed to leave the house or have any contac with anyone as am classed as high risk as I have underlying conditions . I got a email from shu saying the office is now on shut down . How do we get E rings ?Reg and tranfer birds and everything else that is needed by the fancier from the office ???????

Better keepng him in England as the bank notes seem to be worth a lot more than the Scottish notes I was in a supermarket in London handed over a two Scottish £20 notes and was told they dont accept foriegn currency best of all the person that was serving could not speak proper english So i accidently dropped a dozen eggs on the floor and walk out . Lesson learned dont put all your eggs in one basket LOL

I put an order Tues morning got it today Ive used them a few times over the year never had any problems One of the better companies 10 out of 10 for me, and I live up in the North of Scotland

I know I have brought this subject up before . Now we are leaving the EU at the end of the month./Will we still get channel racing /Will there be diffrent rules /will it be tarriffs to get our lorries into the EU. Am sure there will be a lot of changes on the rules( Whats your thoughts on this )

Early fodder for BOPs

I was at the show today It was a good day out . Entries cold have been better with just over 200 birds entered. Bis Arty White Montrose Bos Ritchie & Fulton/ also took Byb Bannf/\ Bos yb/ G. Russell Buckie . A big well done to Eric Yule and his Missus For all there hard work running the show And to all the guys I met in the bar the crack was good Well done all

This is a safe loft trap left half open by a mistake and was very costly

I got a phone call from friend and clubmate asking me if I could pop round and see him problem was when he open up doos were lying all over the loft dead some with no heads others piled up a bloody mess . When I arrived and saw the mess it was heart breaking . As we were talking outside the loft what came running out the door a big pine martin It was off like a bullet . We know how it got in .I gave him a hand to clean up the mess 50 birds kept 28 dead. Heart breaking many of the y/b birds were purchased for good money this was his future stock mostly all gone So sad he is going to think it over the next few days to see if there is any future for him in the sport. In the last year this same loft was broken into twice and had birds removed . I do hope he keeps the birds going but I cant blame hime for leaving the sport
