I have knowing Gavin and Jimmy for a number of years For last 5 years I have purchased birds and been gifted birds direct from the stock loft in Dundee . I decided to build a team of long distance birds to compete in national racing so far 2 nationals raced 2017 Ypres SNFC. 11th North section 528mls 1bird sent. 2019 Burdinne Gold Cup SNFC 6th North section 588mls 1 bird sent these two birds have full bloodlines from Gavin and Jimmys stock lofts . This year George Duncan from Keith won 1st sec G 19 open Maidstone SNFC . This bird was bred by myself Gavin and Jimmys bloodlines . Im only a back garden loft 18 pair of racers 6 pair of stock birds kept. So if your looking for the best I would strongly recomend these birds.

Ive often wondered how many X soldiers do keep the birds and are members on basics. I myself served with the 1st Btn Royal Scots from 70/79 . It would be nice to hear from others who have served in all H.M.F

Pain in the ass especialy the one for PILES

I dont understand if the birds are any kind of value .Why was there security system cameras dogs ect . I have a small back garden loft after the amount breakins locallly by the one man pigeon theive up in my area I invested in a small camera system not expensive . If there is any movement in my garden or loft at any time my mob fone alerts me it also takes a vidio which I can play back an zoom into the intruders eyes if I need to . Its one of the better investment I have made even if I get wakend in the early hours of the morning with the odd cat ( NO damage done }

The Y/B national is 400 mls to my loft the marking station is Aberdeen thats 150 mile round trip to return with my clock thats another 150 mile round trip. The clock station that is set up at Bannf is only 16 mile a 32 mile round trip as you can see a big diffrence . Im sure if Mr Quinn had to do this journey he would have something to shout about Lets not chase fanciers away am sure the SNFC needs all the members they can get
