  5. Hey John yer no far wrong there , I know guys that prefer to train in the rain as they think Percy is no hunting in the rain .
  6. Some good John some not so good as usually happens at that distance plus the weather wasn't the best today with heavy showers enroute . At the club check tonight it was me 3/4. 1/2. 7/12. 0/4. 5/13 8/12 Still looking del it's a 3 yr old barren hen if not here tonight she should be home in the morn if Percy leaves her alone .
  7. 3/4 from Huntingdon today with Glasgow fed , my wee pal John Callan had 12/12 around 6 pm. From an 8am lib , think I'm winning today , all pools and nomination and accumulator . Yeha.

Very honest of you mick to include your loft helper , some just take all the credit and don't mention ALL the help they get and would never be as successfull without the help , well done again mick ,need to drop I some day and see your setup I've passed Moffat many a time .my wee pal frank Lawrie was down to pick up a stray and was raving about it to me .

WELL DONE. Mick , after all the heartache this year in your family this comes along and puts a big smile on your face . Fantastic mate
  13. Hey del keep looking mate ,I got a 2yr old hen back at 7pm skin and bone and very dirty and the usual marks like half a tail and torn down the one side , missing since the same weekend ,hope he turns up
  14. I had posted about this before the race and why I never sent , it's happened lots of times from Newbury , wait till Maidstone. And see how much better the returns are ,later in season birds prepared better not rushed into it and a better race point .also have noticed the dramatically dropped birdcage for Newbury , must be nearly half that went to the first race last year , is this a sign of dodgy racing leading up to it .or does the men in the know wised up to it .
  15. 10/11 Glasgow fed. Aycliffe. , Percy has had a right go today , got my nom at 18 .00 torn under wing a 2yr old for Ypres , a yearling hen at 19.45. With 3 tallon holes in her on her rump and one on either side of her bre ast. , and missing my big fancy for Ypres a 2yr old grizzle cock , u can guess what's happened to him ? Lost another Ypres pigeon from a toss on Wednesday the games fkd I'm afraid .
  16. My mate matt Luke port Glasgow timed his good cock at 15.16

    Stray

There are some guys in my club with K rings n jock I will ask tomorrow at clocks .
  18. Newton aycliffe. 153 miles with the fed , never sent to Newbury as I think it's too early plus it's the same as Leicester bang on middle of the country , with easterly winds forecast. Then I'm sure some will end up across the Irish Sea . But good luck to all this weekend hope its much better racing than lat weekend .
  19. And to answer the thread , Alec think u need to have in place , if your birds are through marker A then it has to get checked at marker A , this is the only way of keeping it right
  20. Surely they should all be compatible , bad bit of business on unicons part I think . I have the new rounded clock, champ I think, and our club station gets a radio signal to set and chek the clocks . Yes your own base station should match the shape of the pocket clock ,but I think ALL club base stations should be the one type and take all as well as being either manual or radio not one or the other jmho

Aye right listening to tunes , you will be in the beer tent , way a gallon of voddie in her bag . Enjoy it big man ,I love rock and roll. Sex. ,but I stopped taking drugs a long time ago lol. Fk the way the racing,s going I might start taking them again lol.
  22. Hope there still sitting as most will lift after a few days over ,is that 19/20 from second egg ? If so they are 2/3 over , and now as I post 3/4 over . Hope for your sake it sits till Wednesday .
  23. I liked franks dad wattle , a very good pigeon man , I used to go in and see him every Monday when I worked in Blantyre years ago , a cuppa and a natter out the back , aye and no big lofts and hunners o doos , a wee L shaped red and white stripped loft about 20 ft in total . He had cracking blues and blue pieds , Irish birds , the big b,ger would nt say where they came from .
  24. Well what happened on Saturday ? No rant or anything ,just asking the question as Leicester is prob bang on centre of the country and we still got a dodgy race , problem with the st,Amal is who does the race controlling ? We Glasgow and south Lanarkshire libbed with Lanarkshire a few weeks back , but it never suited us the last few weeks so we went separately .
  25. Fk me your one of he lucky ones. 100% returns this week , get a lotto ticket for Wednesday mate.
