Just to clarify it was my decision to send. Not s, Lanark as I though we would get a race which we did ,absolutely 100% not one line of flight contact mentioned bad weather every one said a good racing day with excellent. Visibility . Apart from one guy saying it was full cloud cover enroute , would this stop racing pigeons ? Don't think so , and to geo .lanarkshire was the only west coast fed not to send , all other Feds were racing up the east coast where any bad weather was that is why they delayed and if we were racing that route then yes we would have delayed too.

Well Andrew we were the ONLY birds in the sky today , put 2and2 together and came up way Percy .

We were at aycliffe mate , but the Dundee race controller told me that his conveyer said it was high broken cloud with sun trying to break through , I can only go with what I'm told mate ,thanks anyway , the Dundee race controller is on here JSD. Tell him what you told me thanks they were at concett

He's 153 del ,big murdo in Greenock 156 miles at 17.00 .ps birds moving in from the east as normal , returns are bad at moment , think only birds in sky today prob means Percy has had a good day . Absolutely nothing to do with the weather .

I've heard of one or two ,giving me pelters for going to race today , great day for racing IMHO , I have been proven right with libs so far , Dundee away at 11.15 concett, us away at 12noon. At aycliffe , and Ayrshire away at. 12.15 , sun breaking through at race point. Great visibility. . And great enroute. Just hope or ood returns. Again . Just good that I've broad shoulders eh? .good luck to all today and tomorrow . Think it will be like the wacky races tomorrow .in the east .

I was def against it ,but got a unicon system now or 2/3 years yes it's great ,but has its issues ,price of rings for one , batteries , codes during race season , spoke with a top tip fancier a few weeks back about ets, and how t makes us lazy re ring numbers , when writing out a race sheet colour sex. You get to know each pigeon. And on return from race you mark it's number down again , but with ets most haven't a clue a what birds what ,unless they win of course .

Kenny it's naw the ones sitting on fence posts you need to worry about , it's the ones high up waiting to swoop . I have at least 5 pairs withing sticking distance of my loft to mate. Yes some are worse.
