  1. you not going to answer your pm joe 61 soon to be 62
  2. just as thought cant answer the question ,cause you've never timed or probably never sent to a france race, by by FRANK 1
  3. naw im asking a question when are you going to time in from france , you seem to know a lot about the national scene
  4. when are you going to time in from france?
  5. away back to bed frank1
  6. well i dont slag off the snfc , as its a great club , but our club THE SCOTTISH NATIONAL RACING PIGEON CLUB is open to anyone who flies in scotland regardless of union.take out of that what you like, and im quite sure you will have rilled up the members of the mnfc
  7. i would suggest get a kit of 10 or whatever you can afford from louella and watch out for clearance sales (for whatever distance you would like to fly) be it sprint or long distance and buy a proven breeder, or a pair of breeders maybe pricey but would be worth it in the long run, train your young well and race lightly maybe 100 miles or so , then you will have a few to race as oldbirds next year , so next year you will have a few to breed your own and maybe a pair or two proven breeders , then enjoy rearing your own and learn from them
  8. i agree in part roland but a lot of yearlings are big week birds till they fill out into a real racing machine at 2 sometimes 3 yr old , OLDYELLOW you have had plenty of feedback now , have a think about it and come back with your rules and thats what we have to adhere to.
  9. excuse me joe have you not got the mnfc and the nfc, in wales theres two or three nationals, im a proud member of the rpra and this is open for discussion for ALL members of pigeon basics is it not, and yes im on the management commitee of the snrpc, actually a founder member of the club, and do not do to bad with my birds as well, not like some who come on here and talk crap and condone cheating sorry bending the rules
  10. i dont think theres anything wrong with racing young with old as long as club allows it but two rings diferent years NO WAY. even two rings same year is ok but still not sure ,why the need to do so
  11. so are you going to have to nominate e race?
  12. surely its about performance not velocity, ok timing on day 520 miles brilliant, but timing second morning early on 620 or 720 miles still two great performances then it would be up to the judge,s to sort t out ,remember its only their opinion that counts

  18. thats the problem with most fanciers they blame the birds right away , when its the last thing you should look at,although im not keen on sprint pigeons , the guy who said there is good and bad in every strain is spot on but 90% of doo men need to look at themselves.
  19. well its been snowing here since about 3pm ,light stuff only about an inch or two

  25. as ive said joe im not interested in these races as i dont race young birds, i let my babies develope into beautiful yearlings, it works for me anyway , i cant complain with the results i have with these birds as old birds
