  1. naw mate its the snrpc thats going to wanstead flats , we've had great racing from there the last 2 years
  2. i would agree there albear 2 top guys , only one thing im not sure about nominating a race as well as the bird, say you are lucky enough to have your yearlings left ,and you have a few choices and you nom one race ,but the birds not ready and you send to the next race ? up here in scotland you have your club /fed then you have a choice of 2 nationals to race with, with different race programs, so some would have a pick of what race to send their birds to
  3. dont worry about the yougbirds mate you dont need to race them trust me
  4. ive not a problem with that ,those kiddy on races dont interest me, so ive no problem at all , as long as there in seperate baskets good idea if clubs agree to do this then fine
  5. not sure if there open at weekends mate
  6. are these races part of the averages? and if so there will not be many left in for the combined average
  7. whats wrong with entering them as trainers which a lot of clubs allow as youngsters (with one ring on ) its deceitful to put two on.AS far as im concerned its a form of cheating , ive actually brought up about maybe sending some youngsters to the comeback races just to teach them , not for me though for all other clubmates, as i dont normally race youngsters, and if i do its only 1 or 2 to about 100 miles then i would'nt hesitate to send them to france as yearlings 470-500 miles , in fact any yearlings ive done this with have always come home.
  8. joe 61 cant you get it ,its not about putting an old ring on a youngster. its wrong to put two rings of different years on a youngster, its ok if the 2 rings are the same year, i suppose that happens but not up here in scotland , you would be booted out the club for doing it.
  9. thats a good program graham what date does both old and young birds start
  10. i nave had a wee while to think what i could learn from you ,and the only thing i can come up with is how to cheat(bend the rules) thats your way of putting it isnt it
  11. i agree with you vic ,if you had a bird that done particularly well at over 500 miles you would want it to be concidered would you not , and if it happened to be 650 miles then so what , it could be an easy 650 mile race ie blow home etc but should still be included not excluded

we chesny's a wee numpty, i dont think he treats his players with enough respect to receive it back
  15. dodgy guy i'l be watchin YOU joe61
  16. this is what i mean if there was a limit in distance your bird or birds would not be accepted if it was 400-500 miles max why put a limit on how far, but there must be a limit as to how short, some guys maybe send yearlings to 700 miles and if they were lucky enough to time one in good time it would be out not fair i think

listen boys , craig levein is a top manager ,imagine what he could do with a good kitty to buy decent players instead of losing them to your oponents.
  18. i agree albear you can only race with whats there to race against be it 500 birds or 5000 birds, an individual judge or gudges could look at all factoers ,ie flying into west coast in a west wind and winning a top prize, or flying in north with a northerly wind etc etc,i think you would have to apply to win this by entering your own write up on your birds performance with all factors included, but i disagree with putting a limit as to how far your yearling races if its 500 miles limit and your lucky enough to have a great performance from 520 miles surely you could'nt exclude these possible performances
  19. its on the lavy walls down here as well lol
  20. thats it joe 61 your beet ,well done pigeonscout
  21. old yellow why not just say races over 450 miles for yearlings dont limit the distance be it 750 miles or more
