just about the same as glasgow feds program alec, apart from the early oneor two races . we (glasgow) normally meet up around 150 miles with sooth lanark

the guy phoned his mate and hes not sending over this year ,but he gave him a number for a courier that will take it to holland or germany ,SO DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYBODY FROM GERMANY (NEAR HAMBURG) OR HOLLAND THATS COMING TO BLACKPOOL THAT I COULD GET THE BIRD SENT TO that would bring it over with them i would pay any costs etc ?

my cousin karen just phoned again the guy seem genuine he knows i want it back and is going to ask a friend that brings/sends birds over to england when the next time hes sending over hes a fancier for 50 years. the bird had a bad swollen leg and he cut the ring off to save its leg ,and it was found in the town and handed into him , he is going to phone my cousin when he finds out anything so fingers crossed.

ive had a bird reported after it got lostover 1 1/2 years ago, lost it at reims 2010 it had everything but the kitchen sink on it that day ,gutted when it never returned ,only prob is its in bremerhaven in germany , was liberated in a strong n/east wind and bremerhaven is n/east of reims ,it was my first bird every time it was a hard race ,would love to get this bird back anyone any ideas ? rpra say it would cost over £150 plus

martin hughes is a member of my club (smashing guy is martin and a gid flyer) im sure his dad and uncle help him out ,patrick macdonald has packed in with a big future ahead of him as well(also was in my club) ,their is two young boys in the cryston club(glasgow fed) young andrew flys as e.jones and g.son(hes the g.son for all the smart erses) ,then theres mark brady im sure hes in his early 20,s.the morris bros johnston are younger than me and in our club as well.im nearly 48 j.murdoch greenock hes around the same age as me ,so not all doom and gloom down our way .

nearly fell of ma seat ,watchin the bbc breakfast show ,someone e.mailed them saying they had a gust of 63.3 mph ,fk i wish thats what we had here in the west it must be over 100mph .this is def stronger than the last storm ,felt all off the stock loft so some work to do when it subsides .my house is actually shaking

i cant for the life of me get it from some fanciers ,the snfc has had great races from ypres ,the snrpc from arras , the snfc from reims 2 years ago the snrpc last year was a good race from reims ,yet some are wanting to race from western france and the west/center side of the country ,WHY OVERFLY ,IT DISNAE SUIT MY LOFT POSITION ? 1st thing to me about pigeon racing is returns get good returns and all are happy, get pour returns then only the winners are happy .good luck to all wherever u race from ,hope for the birds sake its not a big mistake going west.

100%correct mate that race that far at that time of june is always going to be a sticky one then the wind, fk a disaster waiting to happen, and thats what happened . the snrpc race is no different on the same day/weekend some horrific returns as well

just spoke to a member of my club who is moving away and is only taking one pair with him ,there is around 50 birds , breeding - ad sherlackens jansens vandenbelles and a few distance blood just bought these last 2 years at national and fed sales , he is not looking for much ,he also has 3 stb clocks to give away to anyone who wants them and 2 baskets free as well .pm me if interested and will give the fanciers name and phone number .ps in the glasgow area .
