thanx mate wouldny want an hour of a start .in saying that i might need it the first few races against all the widowhood and roundabout flyers

got my system up and running now ,but i have noticed the clock is an hour slow or has not went on an hour for british summertime ,is this ok/normal or does it need an update or something thanx

just found out a good friend got me one at doncaster £125 ,picking it up the night .all (ets)systems go

found it £83.50 plus carriage ,i would rather just buy a new one at least it would be guaranteed

ive had a look on e bay couldny see it harky ? am still looking for one ,ive tried the grass cutter(unicon agent) on here but he just rubbered me

well done to the glasgow rangers they where the hungrier of the two teams , just one point i thought that celtic were very poor sportsmen ,did anyone else notice after the team got their runners up medals they disapeared down the tunnel and never aplauded the winning team ,its like winning a race on a saturday and after the result is announced no one shakes yer hand .

you might be right andy and maybe less than 5 years the way the racing is going and BOPs take over the sky,s more and more our birds wont be able to fly round the loft never mind race them .(ansd a lot on here cant exercise their doo's now never mind in 5 years

think u/ secretary tellin porkie pies mate ,after 4 clubs (kilbarchan/johnstone/bridge of weir and barrhead) leaving to join glasgow today ,they will be lucky to have 10/12 members is this not the REAL REASON for asking for new members ? all thats left in the west strath fed is greenock members( around 8/10 members) and one or 2 that resigned from kilbarchan and u talk about argyle ha ha i dont think any of them have raced birds for the last 2/3 years am i correct? of course i am ,

who would that be pal surely not me ur talkin about ive not joined any other fed or union . how many members have this fed got ?

i had it 20 odd years ago but it was only 2 rings the same ,reported it to club secretary and smashed one up in front of him just to ba safe .

yes mate ive used it 4 years ,it keeps u tip top ,i wouldny take pigeon tonics though .

handled many a great distance bird ,i would say 99% have similarities ie nice length ,medium sized , great ballance and silky feathers oh and good distance blood , but in all walks of life there is the exception to the rule like an odd stv winning from 500 miles or an Aarden winning from 60 miles ,ive tried all sorts over the years and have found that birds bred for the job in hand in the right hands will do the business . i wouldny like sitting waiting on a svr or roland jansen from the gold cup/medal race from over 550 miles in a northerly wind . also have found that if u try and get birds that can fly into your area as some that do well into the east wont come into the west the same again this is just my honest opinion .

well mate what i was on about is, u say 50th open 28000 birds isny as good as the winner ,why not ,if the first 49 are 20/30 miles to the east of the 50th open and its a strong west wind and it wasnt too far behind the winner ,then i would say imho that the 50th open was the best bird in the race .

aye tam i know exactly what your on about ,my opinion is racing doesny really start till after 200 mile , i dont know about your club/fed but in most clubs a lot have stopped for the season when ours are just starting ,yes it sounds great 1st club 500 birds 1st fed 5000 birds , but if you fly in a club/fed with say 200 birds/2000 birds ,the bigger birdage doesny make the winner better a winner. and also the bigger fed could mean a larger area covering the fed and as we all know the wind normally determines what part of the fed wins ,in the shorter races anyway. AND IF YOU ADVERTISE TO SELL BIRDS OFF THESE MULTI WINNERS BIRDAGE BOTH CLUB AND FED SHOULD BE INCLUDED.ps wont be long now around 8 weeks to the 1st race/toss

im not sure the exact numbers in club around 24/25 ,in fed around 90/100 but with fenfrew now just about fkd and 4 of their clubs looking to get into glasgow then could be around 140/150 this year,but i think birdage counts for nowt ,if for instance u have a big club say 30 members and around 500/600 birds but only 4/5 win on a regular bases, then u have a club with say 7 members but all can win out of turn and only send 150 birds ,so your saying tam (king billy)because u fly in the 30 member club your winner is better than the 7 member winner ? i always say quality always beets quantity any day of the week .ps this is 2 fictional clubs im talking about
