Yes agree and wee need to take into consideration is our modern transporters have air bags and other stuff on board to make the journey more comfortable for the birds but I still prefer a good rest esp for the boys further north that have been on the transporter hrs longer than others

That can be a problem too but if fanciers want to make it work it can be done maybe part of the criteria for a marking station should be that's it's available to change at next to no notice or are these marking stations there to suit the fancier with travel etc I've always believed that there are suitable club venues available every where but it might mean a bit of travel for some fanciers
