I have an injured young bird with a non fancier. Is there anyone in the area who could take the pigeon so I can arrange collection. The guy is working in Staindrop but lives in Stockton on Tees. He is willing to drop it off somewhere if it is on his route.

I think some of them hit rain in England probably not long after they crossed the channel. Usually if birds go up into Holland you don’t get them for a couple of weeks and not in a west wind. There may be some have gone out to sea but not the amount that are turning up.

1 on Wednesday and 1 on Thursday. Also had a Maidstone bird reported picked up on the beach at Seahouses covered in oil
