I have 4 NE young birds and a GB come in to me today. 3104 owner has been contacted 3702 phoned but no answer 2609 has phone number ring but can’t read it 5756 no contact details GB19V67311 no contact details I know of at least one other in Forfar. There are probably more. Hopefully you can get something arranged to get them collected

  9. Brilliant result for Angus Federation members. Congratulations to Charlie & Glen Cameron, 1st Section, 1st Open SNFC with the same pigeon which was 3rd Open last year. Also Gordon Campbell 3rd Section, 6th Open SNFC with the same pigeon which was 3rd Federation from Roye last year and would have been 3rd Section 4th Open SNFC if Gordon had been a SNFC member. Macaulay, Ferguson & Curran are 4th Section, 10th Open SNFC with their pigeon which won a Silver Award last season. Going for Gold next season Gavin? Angus Fed. Roye.pdf

    Well done to the convoyer. The birds were in great condition despite six nights in the baskets. And also well done to the race control team. A thankless task and some unjustified comments on here before the race. Congratulations on a job well done.

  18. Shouldn’t be a problem. If he is trying to put in 2019 as the year it will default to 19. NEHU numbers are all 4 digits as far as I know.

    I don’t think it’s the rain that caused the losses. I think the majority of the birds didn’t cross the channel. There have been races like this before with heavy losses and very few turning up. A few years ago I got 2 birds within half an hour (1 from Ypres and 1 from Clermont) 2/3 weeks after the race. Both looked like they had been flying all day. I was convinced at the time they had either been liberated in England or had come from Holland or wherever that day.
