i am sure most will be on the ball . i only yesterday weaned my first 6 youngsters . today saw 14 old birds have a first toss of the year . only out to "around" 6 1/2 miles . 13 came together , mile a minute , all good. 1 hen came late , slight injury .

Tommy,s answer is perhaps best suited for you Bluey . was just a basic widow hood system Jas , but not forgetting "routine" . the girls should have a copy of "Dave Allen,s widowhood year" . that will help them along . the old adage " to do the same over and over again , and expect diffrent results " is one of Albert Einsteins sayings that should be bore in mind . or as Tommy put it " mix it up a bit now and again.

hello Sota , yes unfortunately Owen passed away . he was a very knowledgeable man . taught me a few tricks 10 + years ago . never looked at racing hens the same way tho .

its the same over this side of the hill . you must fight back . certainly give the birds a rest , to break the chain of attacks .
