having read last year of member DKJ racing un- trained birds, and Peter Pandy trying it out . i thought (not dis-believing) i could only really learn from this by trying it myself . so fool hardy as it may seem i bred a few late breds . Mr Hawk took one , and the 3 remaining are away tonight . in all fairness 3 may not be a lot , and they have been in the basket once before , for just 20 minutes whilst awaiting vaccination . so it will be interesting to see the out-come . what do you guy,s think ??

Gladsmuir P.C. saw just 10 members sending 183 birds . we sent 20 , all that were fit .

have a guess of the velocity of the first bird home for "Team Burgess" this weekend . we are racing around 63 miles .i will go with Velocity 1234 , "just for fun" remember
