  19. have done one a few weeks old at an old fanciers loft with "preparation H" (from his cupboard not mine ) it worked . but blimey it took around 15 -20 minutes and having to re-apply and wait .it apparently reduces swelling , good luck . oh and maybe try the opposite leg to normal ?

  21. it,s a good question Andy . i cant honestly say i know the correct answer . i do make notes when doing such things , yet cant see to have noted anything relevant to it. my assumption would be , the chick is fine for 24 hours at least , maybe by then the feeding parents milk would have kicked in ??
