    By the amount of views and 0 replys i take it there are no ihu s birds up in scotland from sundays penzance race.
  2. We had a race yesterday from penzance ..the leading birds were doing 1800 vels........loads missing anyone up in scotland get any ihu s birds in.
  3. We were racing from st malo in france over 2,500 birds were libbed together from a few different feds.our fed had 7 or 8 on the night out of 800 birds and about 20 odd in total after 3 days.............the weather in DUBLIN was lashing rain most of friday with thunder and lightning.

    We had a race on saturday from penzance to Dublin 223 miles.........loads failed to time in and still havent..i got 0 from 7 sent.where are all these birds. the nipa and the edc also raced from sennencove and penzance on that day.all 3 feds had different libs .nipa at 6.30 edc 8.00 and isrf at 8.30.seems all over the uk had dody returns not just off the channel.

  11. how many races do fanciers give their gold cup birds . do you stop racing them a few weeks before the big day or keep them going including training.

  17. A LOT OF THE IRISH FEDS ARE ACROSS THE CHANNEL IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS.. I THINK SOME NORTHERN FEDS ARE IN TALBENNY AND THE ISRF ARE THERE SATURDAY WEEK............MAYBE IT COULD BE BROUGHT OVER WITH ONE OF THESE FEDS. A LOT OF THE IRISH FEDS ARE ACROSS THE CHANNEL IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS.. Ive only met the mc aloneys once and was treated like a friend not once was i given the sales patter ... i was shown champion after champion fed topper after fed topper and even after being only to their home once i met willie in blackpool and he seen me first and remembered me a we had a chat.iwas invited to his new home and loft. jealous people ruin this sport... i look forward to visiting the lads the next time im over in scotland.
  19. After being locked up since september and started to get let out again in early march i think you need a few weeks lofts flying before you take them training..mine were flying 35 to 40 minutes per day before i started them training.to cold to send them to far 12 to 18 miles is enough.
  20. George in the ISRF here in Dublin there is birdage between 8,000 and 10,000 birds per week on the land going up to about 12,000 plus birds some weeks.there is 100 positions in our fed......
  21. After having a few tosses no losses up to today then missing 2 yearling cocks.... very suprised to be down 2. maybe they will turn up tomorrow.
  22. When is your first oldbird race and what distance are the birds racing from.we are racing from thurles arround 74 miles on the 16th of april.
  23. With 16 pair you could have another 32 birds in that 12 x 6 section.........12 pair would be ideal. have you an avery on this loft.
