from the returns i have heard alf the race is a disaster for some individuals not all. as a race it was difficult with average returns being around 63% from the information I have available. figures based on returns as of 9pm last night. 4 from 10. 8 from 24. 40 from 49. 22 from 37. 21 from 25. 5 from 6. 16 from 23. these seven returns are as far as i can make out are factual. they produce an average return of around 63%. 63% returns from a 60 mile race are not what we would like or expect but are far from being an overall disaster. extremely diificult for some i accept and hope today brings more back home.

stuart have you spoken to murdo about trading standards and awards for all. my post seems to have annoyed naedoos which would imply this is the way to go.
stuart the trade descriptions department will run with this. the shu are operating a restrictve practice. put the matter to alec neil msp the doo mans friend and to murdos own msp. put the situation to all the msps who are members of the raptor working group.ask them to look into it. contact awards for all and ask to have the awards for all grant returned as the shu is not open to everyone. they got a grant for the biased history of the shu book. this is the only way we will stop this happenning to other people. if the actions of this organisation are not made public they will continue to do what they are doing. stop them now.
what is the rule in the shu. there is no rule been quoted. again a non debate smoke screen put in place to attempt to defend the undefendable. poor show poor example.
there is a register of all rings purchased by the union in the union office. as the rings are let out to feds and clubs and individual members the registered rings are then allocated to individual fanciers. all this man tried to do was transfer the already registered ring numbers to his name. as i have said before no matter how hard the union tries to loss this in a rules debate the treatment stinks and is a clear indicator of what is wrong in the scottish pigeon circle. what a mess! what an example! any shu member who stands up for this treatment must fully understand why the shu is losing members continually.
