  2. Remember to send some of them up to the Highlands Mick my black ones are getting lonely. All the best, Paul.
  3. Good luck with the sale Leighton. The birds look fantastic. Great condition, well reared and well looked after. A credit to you. Paul.
  4. Best Van Reets I ever had were from Jimmy and Sue Dickens. They were terrific birds and were a huge part of my young bird team that won the Fed youngbird averages. I found they worked well pure but better crossed into Planet Bros Van Loons and my Pearson and Dransfield Busschaerts. Paul. p.s hope we have not highjacked the thread
  5. I would be interested in a copy too mate. Regards, Paul.
  6. Well all of mine are new this year as I have been out of the game for 9 years. I have been fortunate enough to aquire some really good birds from some genuinely kind and honest fanciers and there are more on the way. The criteria for my selection was results pure and simple and an old adage that I believe in. ' you pick your man as much as you pick your birds'. Food for thought. Paul.
  7. No need to apologise these are the foundations that form our great sport. I could listen to all the old stories and never grow tired of hearing them. Credit to the pioneers of every aspect of pigeon racing, as I say I could listen all day. Just wish my Dad or Grandad had been interested . Paul.
  8. Hope you have checked the loft to make sure that trap is secure you dont want any nasties getting in Paul.
  9. I think that would be an interesting read Tony. Paul.
  10. I never saw any milers fly but I would have liked to. I think it is a shame that this kind of flying is dissappearing. Paul.
  11. No we are just to the east of Inverness 25 miles along the A96. Paul.
  12. Good to see a bit of humour even if some of the jokes (mainly mine) are more akin to anti-humour Paul.
  13. ;D ;D ;D ;D Now Willie where would you put the ETS pads on that beauty ;D ;D ;D
  14. I would agree 100% Robbie. Alan is a top class pigeon fancier and above that a thoroughly decent and nice guy, a real ambassador for pigeon fanciers in the North of Scotland. Paul.
  15. I thought mine were bad ;D ;D anyway two elephants walk of a cliff................. BOOM BOOM ;D ;D ;D ;D
  16. Postcode is IV36 1JJ for the pick up Paul.
  17. These jokes are getting worse but that trap in my opinion is the best thing since sliced bread :B :B :B
  18. Stevie will be working that hard he could end up 'brown bread' ;D ;D
  19. Better get making some then instead of 'loafing' around ;D ;D
  20. Dont know if it was a school as such or a correctional facility. He is not as old as he sounds they couldnt handle him and he was excluded in primary 1. Only joking mate ;D Paul.
  21. Great stuff Ian. The second sale looks like it is going to be an absolute cracker. Lots of good birds mind you not sure about the bloke from Forres! ;D ;D Good luck with it I am sure it will be a roaring success. Paul.
  22. That is terrible Black w/f . Stevie spent hours making that when he was at school all those hours of detention slaving over it. It looks well for it's age considering Stevie left school in 1948 ;) :P ;D ;D Paul.
  23. If you can get them out every day (providing the weather isn't too bad) I would. They will benefit from getting into a routine as early as possible and if you can get them out at the same time all the better. They wont require rest even when they are up and flying for hours at a time. Due to work I cant get mine out at the same time each day but if I could I would. Paul.
  24. That is why I get somebody to do it for me. I didn't follow a word of that mate. My knowledge of computers is like my knowledge of cars. I know where to put the passengers and the fuel and I could probably find out where to put the oil at a push :B :B :B :B
  25. Guess who will be driving all the way up from Glasgow to take it out if I ever decide to or need to take it out. It wont be me. Saying that it has been very good up to now 'does exactly what it says on the tin'. Paul.
