  1. Call it and see. Ask the person who answers 'Do you live in Inverurie' Just a thought :-/
  2. It is for a head cover, instead of all of those expensive animal ones like Old Tiger has
  3. Might be a bit small for them Seriously though it shouldn't pose any problems whatsoever. Dont let them in the loft, keep them out if you can Paul.
  4. Cool the jets mate, no need for that. You have to be signed up for chit-chat. Paul.

  8. I think there are pro's and con's for both systems. I am a scrapper man as I hate standing in droppings. Having said that after just returning to the sport and reading about all the diseases that are on the go nowadays I have decided to put my yb's on deep litter. I do not like it but is good for building immunity ( I hope ). I do like doing my cleaning when the birds are out of the loft (except the stockbirds) but if they are not out they soon get used to you cleaning round them. Mine all go to their boxes when I start on the floor. I do however think the most important thing you can do is pick a system and stick to it i.e either deep litter or scrape every day. Paul.
  9. As long as its in the stock loft and not a racer ;D ;D ;D
  10. Good luck with them Amanda. Go easy on Davey when the racing starts Speak to you soon, Paul.
  11. Good comment Mr Barkel. I attended a genetics seminar and what i remember of the genetic traits of eyes is that you can tell who the father is not in some cases as you state. There are colours that are dominant over others and there are recessive traits etc it is a study in itself. Two eyes of a certain colour cannot breed an eye of another colour but dont ask me to quote which is which as I cannot remember and would not like to claim knowledge without firm foundations I had a look at the birds on your website and I think there are some magnificent specimens and some top quality eyes on them. All the best, Paul.
  12. Like yor train of thought, could work on here or maybe it has think you have cracked it. Paul.
