Roland, Never heard of a doctor Hamilton who races in the Nats in Scotland but could be wrong in respect of this, only Dr I know of is Phil Lynch ex president of the SNFC, think there was also a Dr Salmond from the Harthill area
Also was advised of this last night at the LSC quiz night, sad news indeed, have known Big Phil since I joined the Blantyre club in the mid 60's where he was already a member, RIP Phil Condolences to Jannette and the girls Davie GIllespie
Had not been to a social night for a couple of years, as usual we'll run, good company, and two first class guests who were very knowledgeble all made it a great night, really enjoyed myself
For years the lib time was detailed in the Fed book with 2 hours floating time, the lib time stated for the early races was usually around 10:00 am which meant if bad weather was coming in the birds could be lib bed at 8:00 am if required, if not and weather was set fair for the day they went at ten For me this is the most sensible approach and gives the controller flexibility to control the race as he sees fit
I know it says at the start of this thread that Jimmy had Vandenbeele lines' does anyone know what other lines are for sale and if there is any distance blood lines available, maybe his own old family of birds ??
Well done to all for taking up these positions where I am sure they will do their very best to give us good racing and coverage in the fancy press, best of luck for the new season with the SNFC
If I remember correctly it was a decent race and the first half dozen or so doos timed on the night were spread across the sections which is how it should be, sure Delboy will have a result as again if my memory is accurate he was 1st west section 5th open or similar with his good hen Peggy
Danny, just look down the next time you go for a p*ss, yellow drops are what you shake off before you stick it back in your pants, thought you would have known that at your age
Hope so Lindsay but one way or other there's no easy fix, well there is but don't think he will want to go down that route Frank, I'm not a vet but reckon your dog should be ok ? Spot on Stevie
A You don't always get twisted necks, often it's more subtle than that, reckon balance problems is near enough, drinking to much and a wet floor are definite indication of paramyxo I have already advised that paramyxo is a notifiable disease
