Mike, at the moment the studs won't have any idea whats happening until they ring up for a consignment to go out on Tuesday at which point they may be told by Amtrak that they are no longer trading etc. At this point and if this is the case, they will be looking for an alternative and if you have provided details then at this moment thats all you can do. Don't take to much notice of some on here, I also run my own business so appreciate your position and understand you will not jepodise it for a few birds and ungrateful fanciers. Phil

I would have thought they would be required to produce copies of receipts to prove where the money had been spent. I know our fed had to spend a certain amount of the money by a certain date or lose it.

I have usualy got boxes here but for me to collect boxes from my nearest depot its 1 1/2hrs drive each way to help them because they can't get themselves organised!

Main reason for clubs being turned down is there own rules or stateing they abide by the rules of the RPRA which allows for non acceptance of member applications!

Tariq, for your first season you have done well but start thinking about next year. Ramsgate can be a grave yard for oldbirds let alone youngbirds and there is no point in you pushing them to Lillers, stop them at Maidstone and look forward to having a team of yearlings for next year! Phil

You may well consider my post silly Roland, I have had a number of occasions over the years when Amtrak turn up without boxes etc. When you then ring the depot etc you get told that there policy is for drivers to carry boxes at all times, which has been qouted to me on many occasions so whats silly?

why are members having these problems when the system has been in use for years on the continent if not down to human error?

with the service they were suposed to be offering the drivers were suposed to carry pigeon boxes at all times! Half the time the drivers didn't even know they were collecting pigeons! Phil
