    amtrak going bust?

Mike, one way to go would be to involve fanciers in areas who could carry out collections and deliverys with you arranging a trunking service between areas. Phil

    amtrak going bust?

I believe it was the RPRA that partly caused them to stop the service, but i'm sure there are older members that can fill us in on that one.

    amtrak going bust?

Thought they went bust before and were then taken over which was when the depots became franchises. I maybe wrong but I thought thats what happened! Phil p.s Heres your chance AM!
  15. Martin, magpies are another example of interference from the likes of the RSPB! They were protected to the extent that numbers became way above anything known and were proved to be responsible for eating songbirds eggs etc. The protection was then lifted and they are being controlled but there are still plenty around but the balance is being restored. This is whats happening with raptors, they are causing an imballance of nature! Phil

until yesterday non of my whites had been hawked but had a latebred out with the others yeasterday that came down before the others. I asume it was just coincidence and would have happened to whichever colour landed first, but as soon as he landed got knocked straight off by Sparrow Hawk into next doors garden. I just happened to be stood in another lofts doorway and she stood on the bird and looked at me, I shouted at her and she took off so did the bird! The bird was missing last night with no sign this morning but has appeared sometime today with small gash on its neck from tallons. Don't think it matters what colour they are if they are hungry!

  24. Youngbird racing should only ever be for education, they are only youngbirds for 1 season but could be in your race team for 5 years!
