    a grandson went to another sites auction and that the only one from the family to have left the lofts so far this year. Not had a good sort out yet until I get upto the other lofts.

    He'll go in the bin when we've finished with him. He hasn't got long he's 5 now. His dam was full sister to Blackpool supreme champion of which I bred the dam.

    He's had many BIS's including Southern Region, took best in show at every Midland SRS season shows as a yearling also taking society champion. Then won Class 34 at Blackpool (all society champions). Has since had BOS Old Comrades and BOS Blackpool. Got 5 yearling cock that will be better than him!

  9. Micko, i'll tell you the opposite, I went to a guys loft at Leighton Buzzard, he's won more than most in his area both north and south. When he took me into his loft he said watch this, now bare in mind i was a stranger in the loft, he dropped from height the food hopper onto the floor and not a single bird flinched. He would not tollerate a nervous bird as it would upset the loft and his family were all Janseen based which are often highly strung! Phil

    At this time of year we could all prob cut down a bit but until the season is over and we know whats left it is difficult to cut down to numbers for next year. Also with the Show Racers, they are heavy in moult at the moment but another months time and they will be sorted into show teams for the coming season. Phil
