Choc, just rung him and he's been to check on bird and its died. If owner want the rings can you give him a call otherwise he will bury the bird. Apparently there was blood on the bird when he picked it up.

not a prob pete, last sat left 6am went to Cleethorps to pic up some birds, then up to middlesborough for cancer charity birds, then picked a stray up from non fancier at rugby, then dropped yb's of in newport and got home 11pm after 820m! 40 min down the road won't hurt.

I have been using it for years, and have never removed the birds. I put the drops on the perches with the birds sat there at dusk as its the fumes that kill the mite etc. Also have put it in the bottom of the baskets and have never had a problem if it has come into contact.

and unless the membership stand together against the dictatorship then nothing will change. Maybe all members should boycot Blackpool next year or refuse to pay more than £1 entry and demand where there £ goes to?

Old birds this year, vaccinated 50, birds given open loft for a week prior to training during which period 6 gone, after training 19 left! Majority of birds lost were either latebreds or untrained/raced as youngbirds. Majority of birds left are the birds that had experience!
