  2. When these donations are made where are the majority of the photo's and article published? In the BHW! What publicity does that give the sport telling its own members how wonderfull the RPRA are!

    some birds will excell flying to youngsters, it about finding out what makes your birds tick.

    what system are you currently flying? Also before you decide think about what time you have etc and what fits in best with your lifestyle.

    Gimp is easy to use, go to tool, selection, intelligent scissors, click around the object, hit enter, right click, cut, open background you want to use which you can find by searching out free download pictures and there are plenty of backgrounds and then right click on it and past etc

  11. Wife came back from Coventry this afternoon and said she has seen small batches of birds going in all directions all day!
  12. isolate it and see what its like, withold food for at least 24hrs then start with very light feed.
  13. Chichichi posted earlier they had 17 form 20 i think by lunch time. I know they have been training for a fair while, poor returns will in many cases be poor preperation and lack of training for which the weather hasn't helped. As normal some have to send because its the first race and they might miss out on an average!

  19. The problem with tossing yb's in windy conditions is that they get blown into wires etc where as old birds have the experience to dodge obsticles and have learnt how to handle the wind. A good gauge is to decide if you would let your birds out to excercise around home, if yes then they should be ok, but if not, risk of wires and aerials etc then leave at home.

  22. in the UK there are 2 seasons, Old bird Season, March to July and Young birds season July to September ish.
  23. didn't expect vel's to be high but on first race just want good returns.
  24. She certainly is a quality hen Boxer as are her brother and sister! ;)
  25. Prob with Royal Welsh is its to early, to have a serious go at it you need to keep the birds paired and sitting to hold the moult back which will then put them behind when the proper show season starts.
