i have found in the past that brewers yeast is a great supplement for racing pigeons,,,, yes, you can get plain brewers yeast tablets, from some chemists,,, [carefull you dont get yeast-vite,,,this contains caffiene] powder, or tablet, much the same,, but using the tablets, are handy for gently handling the pigeons and checking them over at the same time ,

i manage to get free needles from my vet , if needed, can only suggest you try chemist [with some proof what you want them for] or any government avian vet,, if short of needles , well worth wiping the needle with an alcohol wipe , b4 doing each pigeon, either for paratyphoid or paramyxo
