The ladybank team is a very strong one, and considering the size of the place they do realy well. I,ve got all my coaching certificates, but as you say it involves a lot of support and money. Altb alex.

I was involved with the Lochgelly 91's when i stayed here before. But due to lack of funding the team folded, which was heartbreaking as these young boys and girls have little in life to occupy thierselves. Well done archie, i hope they continue to thrive.

Breeze blocks with 3" x 3" x 7ft posts lying on top. I,ve just done it this way and it was done quickly as the loft was coming earlier than planned. As long as you spread the wait all over, and its firm, you cant go wrong.

Stuart you,ll be ok. Dont go splashing out on birds, the guys around and about where you live will help you. They are sometimes the best birds to get. Dont get me wrong reputations stand alone at times, just concentrate on getting up and running.

Lochgelly Homing Society has just secured a lottery grant for just under £9300.00. This is to purchase 13 ets systems, 13 extra pads, 13 extra 5mtr cables, a laptop, a laser printer and also 100 ets rings for each member. I,ve just joined the club, so am i a happy bunny or what, lol. As i done the system at Kennoway, i,ve been elected to do it in my new club, which is an honour lol. We are to get a demonstration by Dougie Bald in a fortnight, and i,ll be able to help any of the members, should they need it. Well done to Wullie Stark and his wife who filled the application in, with a little assistance from myself.

Duncan i get it from cupar vets, but it costa £28.00. Its concerning me that its a lot cheaper elsewhere. I,ll need to look into it, but the ivermectim i get is great for worms and mites.

I,ve said it before that it saddens me the way our organisations are run, and why. We all say we want younger people into the sport, well we are not going the right way about it. I,ve been racing for 3 years and to be honest, i,m bloody sick the way things are. The stubourn people within the sport have caused all this. I,m left to fly my birds in a shambolic way, when i fly a national that is what i want to do, not a half national. We in this country fought for many years to be a country of our own, which we have. But now internal feuds are destrying everything, why the hall can we not all become one great nation again. Before anyone says because of this and that, just take a minute to ask yourself, what damage are we doing to each other? We all say pigeon sport is dying, well take a close look at yourselves and ask, am i helping it die. I,m in fife where there is 2 federations which just doubles my frustration, in the present climate, we need to unite and unite as one. For the sake of the sport it needs to be done. Speaking about it here isnt going to make it happen, letters and meetings need to be arranged, for the ball to start rolling. I realy hope we can get our sport back on track and bring back the good old days. It might just might start to turn a huge corner to building the sport back up again, but it needs the support from within. yours, alex.
