If you look at it a different way. The bird has to be timed in, when entering the loft, not landing on it. If you use sputniks, the pad can be underneath, but to time the bird in, it must enter the sputnik. Like wise if it lands on the landing board, it hasnt entered the loft as yet. Cheers mate after all we all have opinions. I just feel that the sport has stood still in some areas and looks prehistoric. My fed done the same for years, never put fees up along with the inflation rate, and now there is a big hike in fees. If we can keep things as smooth as possible, it'll run as smooth as possible. cheers alex.

Its not about " cant be bothered" as you so put it, its about allowing ALL members being able to have a voice for the club they are part off. There are a lot of members who need some assistance, to be able to participate in the sport. I put it down to the lifestyles we all have, we need to work to live and not live to work. Take one example off what has been introduced to help the, working man, the disabled man or in some cases the lazy man, ETS. I just cant see what the problem is, surely if we can help ALL our members we should. This is in my opinion only.

How hard can it be to count up members votes, god if its that hard i,ll do it. This is a very important issue that needs the voice of its members be heard. Some of us have jobs that dont allow us the flexibility to get time off. Its ok if your on the doorstep of the agm, but look at the members who have a hell of a long way to travel, and the cost incured fuel wise. Why can the nation have a postal vote, and most of the time problem free, and our national cant. Its not as though there is 1000's of votes to count. Surely this is the fairest way? alex.

Hear hear mate, a few changes all round are required i/we feel. i,d still like to see a postal vote on the proposals, so that the members who cant attend the agm for one reason or another. That way at least the whole membership gets a chance to vote.

They have been an embarasment to our sport in scotland, and to not deal with a potential damaging situation shows that they are all for themselves and not the members. They have done nothing to move our sport forward in the way that they should have done. I wasnt a member this year due to my situation, but have been and will be in the future, only, if we get a commitee that is productive and positive. I would like to see the commitee made up from north south east and west. I would also like to see the agm taking place one year in north then south then east and then west, i think that helps all members with travelling ect, and shares it out. While i,m on my high horse, i think it would be a good idea for all proposals to be put in for a certain date, like they are. Then a ballot paper sent to all membership to vote on, this helps members that cant get to the meeting for one reason or another. This would get a better picture of how the national should move forward. yours alex wight.
