you done good.

What about the likes of Dunn Son and seal, Graham cooper, Mick and tracey Murphy, just a few welsh friends i have been introduced to since beginning, and friends of mine here in scotland have done realy well with.

i don't agree with the way this is being dealt with Andrew. You have agreed that the auction would run for 1 hour longer than it has, and you are in effect under contract to meet that obligation. If this were a saleroom auction, where there is a dispute, it is normal for the item to be put up again. In this case, I think the auction should be put up for a further 24 hours. We all know that many people make last minute bids, and much extra revenue is generated this way. I appreciate you haven't had to do this sale, but you have, and it needs to be done properly. You will also be aware of the self publicity/exposure it has generated for your business, so the CIN cause isn't the only benefactor. Had I gifted a bird I probably wouldn't be best pleased that my CIN donation has been short changed. Question: did andrew cause the problem? answer: no Why all the "state the obvious"? If Andrew seen these problems before they happened, i,m pretty sure they wouldnt have. Cut the guy some slack, instead of hanging someone doing a good turn. He tried his best, and due to problems outwith his control, he was let done. A little support is needed.

Andrew, well done for your efforts in this cause. I,m sickened that so called fanciers, have jumped to slate your efforts. I understand the frustrations, but lets look at whats happening here. 1. The auction was run for a good cause by someone who cares 2. There was no intention of upsetting anyone. 3. It wasnt Andrew that caused the problem, and he will have learned from this. 4. To be called out to work wasnt planned either. 5. Once the problem was highlighted, Andrew tried to sort it out hence not being able to answer questions. 6. If the auction went to plan, the website used wouldnt be brought into the fray. All i say is, lets look at life here, i dont think the critisisem is very fair. I am very saddened that this seems to be the norm in life today. CIN, yes lost out, but will also lose out in the future if this is the attitude of fellow fanciers. Just take a minutes thought before the unacceptable behaviour starts, its not needed. alex.

one national, and for all the people who are hell bent on not allowing this to happen, think about the damage you are doing to our great sport.

I,m reading this with great interest, as i,m relativley new to the sport. I,ve said it in the past and i,ll say it again, members who think they own either the snfc or snrpc are so very wrong. If we are to go forward as a joint venture, we ALL need to cut some slack. I joined the year the split took place, not a good start for me, but i joined the snfc, solely because i knew they had been going for some years. However i,m looking at this committee, and ask myself, do i realy want to give my support and money to this committee. So as nationals go, i,m not sure what the future has in store for myself. I would love to race against the whole of scotland .

Thunderbigbaws, not going to Fed dance this year, having a year off. I,ve not been part of the fed this year as you, so i,m taking the opportunity to go to the sporting challenge. Pity they are on the same night though as i would have went to both, as i like to support where possible. Hope alls well alex.

I,m just back from the above sale, and had a great day handling argueably some of the best distance birds around. Bob was in attendance and i had a wee chat with him, its always nice to put a name to a face. The sale was well attended and made Bob a few bob. I purchased 2 birds which i thought were good in the hand, looked good and have done well for the partnership, just have to wait and see how they do next year for me. The people that were there had a good day and there was the customary friendly banter between everyone. We enjoyed a good meal put on by Bowhill Memorial Club, washed down with well whatever lol. I take this opportunity to wish Bob the best in the future, and thanks for taking the time to chat to me.

Strapper, cemetary wasnt indicating or suggesting anything, he was just asking a ligitimate question. I feel your taking things too personally mate, where theres no need to. I hope you sell your birds, good luck, alex
