  1. I dont have a balance sheet to hand as i never got one sent to me. I agree if the figures worked from last year and look to work for this year then leave it. I was under the impresion it didnt.
  2. That was based on IF everyone sent 10. why ask the big teams pay more, they are on the same lorry and part of the same fed. Happy new year tight wad ;)
  3. The fed should only ask for the money they need to operate nothing more.
  4. If all members send 10 birds every week, they are contributing £3.20 weekly. times that by the 16 races we had last year= 51.20 times that by 200 members = £10,000 approx, who pays the other £20,000?
  5. The reason it never went forward before is because the president put it to the members in words, not figures. So no-one understood it. If you are using the fed why not support it? it is up to the members in every walk of life to support the group/club they are part of.
  6. the fed needs in the region of £30,000 to operate, who pays that? members not birdage. My opinion.
  7. Fife fed fees are proposed to be £150 which includes 25 birds, there after 25p a bird. The fed has to survive, and it is up to the members to pay their way irrelevant what numbers you fly. If it were to go on birdage alone the fed would not survive. I have been trying to say this to the membership for 2 years now, but hopefully it will go through this year. If it doesnt, the fed goes under, simple as that.
  8. May everyone have a great time tonight, and all the very best for 2009. see you there. alex.
  9. Mine is on its way Tommorow Ian, alex.
  10. Thank you Gareth, it was a joint effort, Ian suggested and i,m donating ;D
  11. I,m in the process of pairing up, i,ve not bred so early but need to get my young bird team sorted asap, so that i can concentrate on my yearlings that never raced last year. I,m also going to put them on the darkness for the first time so its going to be hit and miss this year. Just hope i pull it off. Next year will be different, as i,ll be breeding later, just from my stock pairs. Trial and error for me. alex.
  12. Its a fiting way to say thank you to pb for helping me at my lowest, heres hoping i can give something back as a well. Cheers Ian. alex.
  13. Wullie, i never new David that well, but shocked to hear the sad news. God bless him. alex

  15. Thank you, i,m onto it.
  16. Thank you IB do you have the e-mail address handy, and i,ll do it straight away
  17. Take it there wont be any special circumstances then. Being the only loft to be burnt down in scotland, the snfc wont have faced this before. I,ll just have to keep trying to contact them. Cheers george, alex.
  18. Thanks DJW, i faced the worst possible senario that a fancier could face, and it took a lot for me to keep going. If i,ve to pay i will, this is a special case and just wondered how i could approach it. I will be flying again this year with the snfc, and many years to come. I,ll try and get in touch again, thanks again, alex.
  19. God bless.
  20. Can anyone please advise. I got a letter the other day from the snfc, informing me that i have not paid my 2008 fee's. As most of us know, i had other things on my mind, what with my loft being burned down. I obviously couldnt fly this year and informed the snfc (left a message on answer machine). I have since tried to contact Andrew Garven to ask for advice, as to whether i,ve to pay or not. This is not about being tight and not wanting to pay, but considering the position i found myself in, i would have thought i wouldnt be asked to pay. Please advise, alex wight (now lochgelly fife).
  21. God bless him.
