  1. You will NEVER please everyone, when it comes to a national. There is always someone with the least mileage, and someone with the most mileage. Me personally, i think these races are not fair to anyone. Everyone wants to compete with everyone, but how can than be equal, when you have mileage difference from 188 miles to 370 miles. Can you imagine in athletics, 20 people are on the start line, but have to race different distances to get to the finish line. The guy that's a trained sprinter, is going to finish in 10-11 seconds, where as the marathon runner will be running for 2 hours approx. both are brilliant in their field but totally different regarding type of body build required for their race. The marathon runner will never in a month of Sundays run at the same pace as the sprinter to maintain a fair velocity. Whereas formula one would be a different kettle of fish, with the problems being reliability, fuel, tiredness, weightect. They all have the same power(approx), and will be easier to maintain the same speed from 10 seconds to 2 hours, giving a fair velocity, giving a fairer race. The arguments will always be there, unless race points were rotated to share the chance of winning. Oslo would benefit Peterhead, Ireland would benefit the west and Leicester would benefit the east. Is this likely to happen? NO, as it would never be supported by everyone. So what is the answer? go to the race if you want to be part of it, knowing the history of these races. Or don't go knowing the history of these races. Even if every single member was given the chance to vote proposals through, the sections with the biggest chance of winning will always win. This is only my opinion. regards alex.

  7. sorry to hear about this, the mindless scum deserve what they get if caught. In my opinion, one thing that the pigeon world could have done without, is stating the value that was lost. Can you now imagine what this could cause? I hope this loft gets back up and running, good luck.

Junior vice president is now Stuart Donaldson from Perth club The race secretary is going to Robert Adam from Perth club. I will be assisting him till he gets the hang of things. Fife Fed Agm

Thank you Frank and Brian. I enjoyed it, but being new to the sport it is an uphill struggle, with no time now to enjoy it, it feels like a waste of time. Its a pity the sport is in the position it is, otherwise i would have kept on going. Just feels like i,m throwing time and money at a dying sport, with no rewards along the way. I have a 5 year old and wife who were getting ignored or pushed aside whilst i was trying to make it in the sport, which isnt worth it at all. I wish everyone in the sport all the very best for the future, and hope you all achieve what you set out to achieve. alex

  22. Another example that this country is fuucked, and abused by people who know they can abuse it, without having the fear that they wont get done for it. Soft as shiite on criminals and as soon as an honest person makes the slightest of errors, we get hung drawn and quartered. His wife/family should never have been put thru that crap, so cheers to the Great British justice system for fuucking another family up. Its high time time they took their finger out their arsses and fuucked the people who deserve to be fuucked. RANT OVER

  24. thank you very much to St Andrews club through Davie Baldie (Hey Presto). alex
  25. Very well done Brian and Archie. Fife clubs apparently all sponsored this show at one time. All clubs know when it is, and it would be a nice sporting gesture for that to be the case again. Just looking for as much support as possible, to make it a huge and successful show again. Thank you once again. regards alex. ps looking for outside sponsorship as well, with the raffle being donated to, also.
