Cheers Gary.

Thank you Maverick

thank you for your comments john, its much appreciated to see what others think, especially not being part of it. It may just wake some people up, who are caught in the dark ages, that this idea not only makes sense to those affected, but also outsiders back it too. Thanks again, alex.

you are being contacted tonight junior, by John. He has a task for you

members in my club were all for it too, no moans at all? In the west i think we are all resigned to the fact that we will be know where in the fed 9 times out of 10. So concentrate on club racing and section racing. so it wouldnt really effect the west in any way shape or form? my opinion is that by this time in the season the birds should know how to break and where and what to do once in the area.

not negative at all, i just want to hear everyone's views, as i said in my last post if we dont listen to all views then it will hit us later. Cheers Brian, its another area to look at. By doing what we done yesterday, would that not help any?

Please respect the post, as we are trying to cover all points, and make this work. If we dont look at all the points then they will bite us later on. thank you, alex.

What would be the obstacles, with it being an open Brian? What would be the thoughts? Not knocking the feedback, just looking for the thoughts, cheers eck.

Yesterday at Ripon, Angus, Dundee and Fife federations liberated together at 1145am into a north west wind. Fife appears to have had a good race with good returns, how have Angus and Dundee got on? Our best velocity so far is D. Baldie & Son on 1331. It would have been nice to have all the birds 1300approx (700 fife and 600 angus and dundee), on the fife lorry, which would have saved a few bob. The way forward is to have our 3 feds joint convoying, and i think yesterday was a huge step in the right direction. Can we or should we arrange for joint convoying for next weeks race? Yes its an open race for Fife, but it would be the same as this week, a good convoy with a good race. Please feel free to leave comments (sensible), and think for the benefit of the pigeons, feds and members. If we the committee feel that this is a goer for next week, we will do all we can to make it work for all our feds benefit. kind regards alex wight (having spoken to john mccord).

Why is pigeon basics allowing "advertisements to join the rspb", on our site?? on the right hand side of the screen, advertisements appear, and change every now and again. the last one was from the scurge of pigeon men???? do we really need to help them kill our own sport???

I find it strange how you know what fife fed members are thinking. I too hope your wrong, we have 130 members and the 2 or 3 that don't want progress won't stop this. My opinion and aim.

Fife fed will do all they can to accept other feds birds, as long as it works for all concerned and all the politics have been dealt with everyone has been consulted.

Fife federation are very active in getting our state of art transporter filled EVERY week. There are some members from Fife Dundee and Angus that are acting like children because of what went on in years gone by. They dont give a toss that these feds are running themselves into the ground. Its high time they closed their mouths and put there pigeon head on and done what is best for the sport. I can confirm there are DUNDEE pigeons on our transporter, and thats a start. John McCord (President), Jock Scott (Junior Vice President), Gordon Turnbull Secretary) and myself Alex wight (Senior Vice President, race secretary), and the council are at the moment trying to make feds aware that if we can accommodate them, then we will do everything to do so. For all the people against this, you need to take a good long look at yourself, and see the damage that you are doing to our sport. To all the people that are for this, you need to help make this work. Kind regards alex wight. our transporter holds 144 baskets 20 per basket=2880 25 per basket=3600 30 per basket-4320 However it can be altered to accept 158 baskets 20 per basket=3160 25 per basket=3950 30 per basket=4740

Wullie i couldnt agree with you more. I just wish the fanciers in the feds can put politics and years gone by, behind them and move forward before our feds all die on their arrses
