Im afraid your only partly correct m8. G McLain does have the benefit of having decent mileage under his pigeons before the yb National but the location is the main reason you all win the yb Nationals every year. Its diabolical that the pigeon game is so unfair however, we have come to accept that sometimes the winner of a National isnt always the best performance put up in the race.

If you get a decent enough judge then he can pick out the dipped pigeons from the true racers, 9 times out of 10. I think there should be a 450 mile class at Edinburgh, flown certificates to be produced for all entrants.

I agree with you, something done is better than nothing done. We all talk about the devastation BOP is doing and yet we never act on it.We sit back and let it happen year after year hoping somebody else will sort it. I think it should be common practise for every pigeon fancier to try and sort things for the benefit of their sport. I would never criticise anybody trying to fathom out the problems that occur in our pigeon sport at present.

Maybe 10 years ago this would have happened but not now. ;D ;D :-/ Ive had my days of ripping peoples heeds aff, working the doors in Glasgow. Pigeons is our hobby and should be enjoyed . although there are many, many *expletive removed* holes out there ;D
