  2. Had 3/7 last night 1657 2050 2155, got my other 4 today 2 @ 0817 1111 & my pooler at 1700, Now got Alencon and Niort to look forward too and put this race behind me. A huge well done to the winners and enjoy your week, its a great feeling!

  6. What a fckn shambles. Thankless job for Race Controllers especially if you work for a living, but what do you expect when 2 of them have more 60 mile races in their own federations than the whole of the country put together. Also one of them had the birds held over on Friday morning when the transporter hadn't even arrived at Newbury. As I said thankless job but skilled controllers needed not YES MEN.

  19. 24/29 from Newark. The 5 missing were all at this racepoint last week and 3 have scored this season too!!

  21. With my inland/federation team, I USED to work on the stats that if any cock at the end of the yearling stage hasn't scored twice in the First Ten of the federation then its moved on. One or both positions can be as a youngster, however in this case they go to the coast as yearlings and maybe even Ypres. This gives a good guide to the racing qualities of the team rather than large numbers. With the Bop scenario nowadays this is becoming harder to achieve.

  23. Cheers, yes a good week, but I only send my half dozen channel birds to first national for hours on wing, unless its a hard/dodgy yin I'm not really competing.
