yes true vallance, the heavywieght division has been very poor for quite a few years.......and to be honest i never really rated lewis that much either, just he was there at the right time when the last of the good heavywieghts were past there best.........and he took advantage of the opertunity at the time.

L.O.L. Klitchsko brothers, very overated.........wouldnt have ever been world champs if there had been some good heavywieghts around over the last few years, wouldnt have lasted a round with a young mike tyson at his best.

What about this one then, has anyone heard of this....? A local man who i have known for many years and who i have had many a heated discussion with regarding the rspb, recently told me that in his monthly newsletter from the rspb it informs all members/supporters that if they change their gas/electric suppy to a certain company who supports them, the company will make a one off donation to them for each new customer and then also a once a year donation for each costomer...........this is what we the pigeon fancier are up against, a highly organised and highly funded enemy.

What do the members here think to the fact that and advert published in the BHW (the journal of the RPRA)and paid for by a pigeon fancier, is selling anti cat deterants and stating that a % of all units sold will be donated to the RSPB.........it also goes on to use how the RSPB endorse the use of this deterant as a selling piont. I for one thing this is taking the p**s.

my younger/natural ybs are more or less through the moult now, the darks are still scruffy and have two/three flights to drop yet...............

i have a GB 08R 552** pigeon which comes from goole, but yours could come from somewhere miles away from there if its the RPRA list..........

settled a young red hen this year that was too strong on the wing, and would have been off given the chance..........dipped her in a bucket of soapy water and soaked her, then she could only walk around the garden......till she dried out, so didnt leave herout tooo long. have heard to settle older birds is to cut the end flights so they cant fly, especially when moulting is a good time so they get used to the surrounds and them grow the new flights.......maybe do both wings or just one. this is just what ive been told but never done it.

my young cocks and hens are seperated, and fed 2/3rds super diet and 1/3rd best all round vanrobys..........birds are dropping to bits now, even the dark birds are too.
