true, i agree.......they were quick enough bringing the dangerous dogs act in, this proves hawks are a danger to the public. the owner of the bird is alright saying its never done this before and that it must have thought the dog was a rabbit, it could be a child next...........

was shocked to hear of gaz having a heart attack last night, was only speaking to him shortly before it happened, i hope hes ok, and makes a speedy recovery.....

yes roland, they do want another war, but their target is iran....

not attacking the site/admin, nor its members in any way.........as you will see in my post. i am merely pointing out that some members have previously stated they cannot find the link to the petition, i gave my opinion on what COULD solve the problem.

well said gary, the rpra have decided eventually to make the right noises, maybe its because they have finally realised the members are losing patience with them and seeing them for what they are...........lets see what updates they give us and what they achieve over the next few months, personally i think it will be very little, the members of this site have done the fancy proud, but im afraid in my opinion the admin could have backed the petition more, it was said that some couldnt find the link to the petition, and suggestions to create a banner/link which was easily found were ignored.......dont get me wrong, this is a great site, but admin on other small sites with 500 members tried more. JMO

touch your curser onto the banner link on my posts, it takes you directly to it...........as ive said previously, cant admin add this banner/link in a prominent place on the home page/portal etc so members can see it........?

i think a lot of pigeon fanciers saw this petition as "just another petition", weve signed them before and got nowhere......i think it always was going to slow down after the initial rush on people signing, but i think once fanciers see we are not going to back down and the man who started it is trying everything he can to keep the pressure of these groups and keep the petition going......more might get behind it and support it. the rpra and others have so far snubbed our efforts, but there might hopefully come a time when they have no choice but to stand up and be counted, or it will show them up for what they are...... keep up the good work gary, but remember you need to concentrate on your own racing season and your birds......

bring the x factor topic back, seems pigeon men are more concerned about who wins that than a fellow pigeon man trying to stop our pigeons being ripped to pieces and eaten alive........

mr waldrop and he`s associates have known about this on line petition virtually since it started, that is approx three weeks ago.....would you not have thought he, or someone at the rpra could have publicised it in the homing world ? no, not a word......but i do notice all the big reminders to get your ideas in to celebrate the queens aniversory nearly every week. i think the rpra have a serious problem with their priorities.

visitors and members shouldnt have to stumble accross the link to the petition if they by chance happen to read this topic, in my opinion a banner link should have been added somewhere on the site for all to see whenever they come onto the site.........JMO 500 signatures gary..........

is there any way fanciers could find out if the rpra donate to the rspb ? im sure ive read somewhere they do..........could be wrong though.

excellent report on pipa gary, keep up the good work.....lets hope it gives the petition some much deserved coverage. i also agree with fifer, why arnt these donations made public in the press, we keep pumping donations into charities and "worthy causes" and the only people that know about it are pigeon fanciers............i saw in the BHW blackpool report cheques being presented to charities amounting to £41,000, who else but pigeon fanciers knows about this, and how we have supported and donated to charities over the years, no one. lets see if any who have benefited from pigeon fanciers kindness will support us and sign the petition. well done gary..........
