Lofts on allotements have been burnt down in south shields, it was started by a gardener lighting a bonfire, its thought he left the fire and went home.......the wind took hold and it went out of control taking approx 10 lofts up in flames, the fanciers who owned them are devistated. these pictures had been posted by one of the allotement holders.

he always talked a good fight, but unfortunately they were usually a big dissapointment/let down, and the crowd often booed him out of the ring................

as far as i know, witter never took any titles from the man who held them...........he took the vacant comonwealth title against some unknown ghana`n, he took the vacant european title, and he also took the vacant wbc title when he outpointed a well past his best demarcus corley...... when he did actually come up against a man who did hold the title, like zab juda he lost. he also outpointed an aging vivian harris who was also well past his best, and also a fighter who wasnt ever that good anyway. if you check witters record youll find virtually all his british, comonweath and eurapeon ftitle fights were for vacant titles when he originally won them. the reason why hatton never fought him was it was a step backwards, why did hatton need to fight a bum like witter.....?

agree with 99% of what you say roland, but come off it.....you cant be serious that witter would have knocked hatton out ? witter "the hitter ...lol" is a total clown, just like the other idiot nasheem ahmed.

if by some chance it did ever happen, it would certainly be worth watching..........

like i said above, they will never fight.............but if by some chance they did mayweather would win, no doubt about that.

they have been talking about this fight for the past two years or more, it isnt going to happen because even though they will both get big money niether wants to risk loosing.........so all they will do is keep fighting hand picked opponents to build their reputations and keep talking nonescense about fighting each other.........

The thing that annouys me is the government is making cuts to all our services, health, education etc....theres people loosing their homes and jobs, but yet we are giving millions in foreign aid for them to build schools and hospitals......???? Our ecconomy is at rock bottom but yet most of the imigrants who have taken the jobs spend the very minimum omount of it in this country, instead they send it home to boost their own countries ecconomy......the fastest growing ecconomy`s in the worl are china and india, but yet britain are giving aid to them...........???

The UN are bombing to stop gadaffi killing his own people.....? i think the bombs which have been dropped on behalf of the UN will have killed more civilians than gadaffi has. The only reason we are getting involved is for oil, nothing else......... If gadaffi is such a bad man, why was it Tony Blair was so friendly with him, doing oil deals for B.P. so he would get his million pound bonus......? and also handing over the murdering lockerby bomber under some scam lies he had cancer and had only weeks to live....? Time to face it, this country`s governments past and present are corrupt.

its already too late, this government and the previous one have sold the indiginous people down the river........they should be hung for treason.

should be a public holliday, shouldnt have to use a day of your hollidays for it.......tell them you want to go into work and they are denying you your right to work on that day if they still persist in making you use your hollidays.

yes, this is what i fed my ybs on all this season, vanrobys best all round corn....and versa laga super diet.........i kept them on it untill now and the birds had an excellent moult, maybe due to the super diet having plenty of linseed ??? just ordered 10 bags of vanrobys from murray and mills to be delivered this week.

have been using vanrobys best all round corn all season, and found it the best corn ive used for a long time..........i recently couldnt get any from the local corn supplies and bought some natural to tide me over, and its rubbish compared to the vanrobys........ ive also found vanrobys is no dearer than many others and certainly cheeper than some....my advise is buy it/use it.

raced the verheys in the late 80`s and they won well for us, i know some will not agree but the birds were bought from louella and they were excellent............

khan won the fight on points, altho he was knocked all around the ring on rubber legs for the last two rounds............if it had been the other way round the ref would have stopped it. although what do you expect from joe cortez, hes a golden boy referee so he`ll do all he can to help his "work mate" like he did against ricky hatton when he fought mayweather.........

i use cider vinegar and honey three times a week in the drinker, and to be honest i cant see any difference to the birds what so ever..........but will continue to use it until i find out one way or the other if it is of any benefit.

i had all yearlings last year and they took ages to lay, this year i also have mostly yearlings (2010 birds)............which i will be pairing up on the 5th feb and during the time between now and then i will be putting them togeather each weekend then seperating them, so that by the time 5th feb comes they will already be paired and should have no problems laying.

i have, 3 pair verheyan/hofken janssens. 1 pair soontjen x melderts. 4 pair mc murchie janssens. 4 pair lefebre dhaenens. 1 pair cyriel denduyver.

thanks for the info old yellow, what do i ask for in the chemist ? i cant say its for one eyed cold in a pigeon can i ? is it the same stuff as used for conjunctavitas ?

noticed today one of my 2010 hens has one-eyed cold, have tried to buy one eye cold tablets (old hand) and no one sells them any more...............they gave me some eye drops but it doesnt say on the label its for this, only to prevent infection during racing etc.........anyone have any suggestions on the best way to treat ???? thanks.
