Derek what is really pissin me of is the people who come on here after the event with all these theories and contacts who could have given info on the race route. Why do these people only post this information after the event?

Aye your right get off your buts n come to the meetings, their are people who cant be bothered coming even when its on their back door step. And get all proposals including the race programme in writing so they can be put on the agenda and people have the chance to do their homework. If its not on the Agenda it shouldnt be discussed at an AGM.

Derek we all know something happened to the birds at this race and we also know we will never know what happened but I for one believe that Jim Hannah would not have let the birds go if there was Fog on the channel at the time. Jim had his own birds on the transporter as well and we all know how cautious Jim is when it comes to liberations even from Kelso. Lets see how many of these would be race controllers put their hands up when it comes to the AGM or even bother to attend.Its hard enough to get them to even give a hand at the basketing preferring to stand and blether n moan about the time its taking. As for this information from "Rene" this would have been helpful before the event, and I believe the Irish held over because of the weather moving in from the west which would have been bang over Ireland at the time the birds were due home.

Aye John 100% correct,if you wasnt at the AGM you shouldnt criticise. Only way to get folk of their butts is to put in something conrovercial then you will have a good turnout of members.
